So I built Bacon cos like many of you ,I spend a lot of time staring at my terminal(s) waiting for claude code to finish.But first, shout out to Andrew McCalip (@andrewmccalip) who built kickbacks.ai. He came up with the spinner ad and revenue share model, but as a VS code extension. But tbh Id rather not use VS code, so i built the terminal native version as a personal challenge.So Bacon does that, it shows you ads on claude code. There are five surfaces, from least to most intrusive: spinner, statusline, strip, card,
